AtClosing's referral fee typically ranges from 15–30% of the gross referred-side commission, We have different plans to fit your business needs. Please refer to our pricing page for more details.

Note: The gross referred-side commission refers to the total commission received by the receiving agent’s broker, before any splits with agents or other brokers on that side of the transaction.

We carefully match clients with the best agents for their needs, so the timing of your first referral can vary. Many agents receive their first referral within the first month, but it can sometimes take longer depending on market conditions and client demand in your area. Rest assured, we are actively working to connect you with qualified buyers and sellers as quickly as possible.

Your performance and communication directly influence your eligibility for future referral opportunities. To maximize your success and stay in good standing, follow these best practices:

  • 1. Respond Immediately

    Reach out to every referral as soon as possible by phone, email, and text. A prompt introduction sets the tone and shows the excellent service you provide.

  • 2. Maintain Consistent Follow-Up

    Stay in touch with a regular schedule of calls, texts, and emails. Add value by sharing new property listings, market updates, or helpful resources that align with the referral’s needs.

  • 3. Nurture Long-Term Leads

    For referrals with a longer timeline, continue engaging throughout their journey. Staying top of mind ensures you’ll be their first call when they’re ready to move forward.

  • 4. Keep Us Informed

    Update us on the progress of your referrals. While not every client will close, providing updates is required to remain eligible for future opportunities.

  • 5. Complete Your Agent Profile

    Fill out your Agent Profile with details about your skills, experience, and background. This helps us select the best match for referrals and builds trust with clients choosing who to work with.

You can update the status of your referrals directly from your Agent Dashboard. Simply log in, navigate to the 'Leads' section, and select the specific lead you want to update. From there, you can change the status, add notes, and provide any relevant details about your interactions with the client. Keeping us informed helps ensure a smooth process and allows us to support you effectively.

Leads are delivered via SMS, email, and Zapier. Make sure your contact information is up to date in your profile so you receive notifications immediately. You can also manage all lead details directly from your Dashboard, including contact info, property data, and the lead’s current status—making it easy to stay organized and follow up efficiently.

Your buyer and seller leads are exclusively yours from the moment they enter the system. AtClosing will never distribute the same lead to multiple agents, under any circumstances—even if the lead submits information for a property outside your target area or interacts with another agent's ad. However, as we are not the only provider of real estate leads, we strongly recommend following up with your leads promptly to ensure they remain engaged and do not seek another agent.
